hearing snowflakes

This is the strangest sentence I have come across. Can bald people really hear snowflakes? Having never been bald, I am not sure but it also peaks my curiosity. What would it be like to hear snowflakes? You can hear the wind, you can hear rain. And of course you can hear a thunderstorm. I've never really thought of snow having sound. You can hear it crunch under your feet. I feel the need to ask a bald person if they can hear snow.
